Group Classes
I love group classes because they’re fun and engaging. They’re ideal for friends or families hoping to travel to France one day, or for simply for people looking for a new social activity or challenge. In each French lesson, I cover various parts of the language and culture, with a focus on practicing and speaking.
The content is comprehensive, ensuring you learn how to ask some of life’s most important questions including ‘may I have a croissant, please?’ or ‘which wine pairs best with that dish?’ Group classes never have more than six people, which allows for all students to learn at their own pace without feeling rushed.
Corporate Classes
Corporate classes are designed to meet the learning needs of professionals, or those required to know French for work. The curriculum is task-oriented, focused on delivering content that meets the linguistic needs at work. Corporate classes are personalised, and promise fantastic language development.
These French classes are designed for businesses operating in France or within French speaking countries or environments. They enable students to feel comfortable, and most importantly confident, speaking French in commercial environments. Each class is conducted at a pace that suits the workplace, with emphasis on skill rather than speed.

Examinaton Prep
French is one of the most popular languages taught at Diplôme d’études en langue française (DELF), the Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) and (Western Australian Certificate of Education) WACE levels. A brief summary of these certificates and ranks can be found below:
- DELF is a diploma awarded by the French Ministry of Education which certifies one’s level of proficiency in speaking the French language. It is an internationally certified certificate that is valid for life. The DELF certificate is used by French speakers to take advantage of study, travel and work opportunities that are life-enrichening.
- WACE language courses are taken at the high school level and enable students to speak French at a high level, understand French culture and the role it plays in communication.
- ATAR is the rank used by universities across Australia to help them select Year 12 students for entry into their courses.
To assist students with their DELF and WACE French examinations, French Lessons Perth can help build confidence, advance skills and set French students up for the best possible chance at success. DELF and WACE are the most common examinations I help students prepare for, and I am proud to have a proven track record of assisting students achieve outstanding results, including great ATAR results, on these exams.
Conversation Classes
Conversation classes are ideal for building confidence. A minimum level of A2 CEFR is required which means students can understand commonly used terms in most central areas like shopping, employment, family, and geography. It also means students can complete routine tasks that involve a direct swap of information.
